I set this gorgeous, faceted labradorite in a more organic setting. Some of my favorite designs are the ones that already look like artifacts. The "rougher" setting and patina finish on the silver stands out with the small accent of bronze rings.

What is labradorite? Labradorite is a calcium-enriched feldspar mineral first identified in Labrador, Canada. Some specimens of labradorite exhibit a schiller effect, which is a strong play of iridescent colors. Labradorite is so well known for these spectacular displays of color that the phenomenon is known as "labradorescence."
